Teacher FREEBIE!

Happy Tuesday! I wanted to share a quick freebie that I created for my classroom. I actually made this freebie for a large Alice in Wonderland unit that I will be posting in my store soon, but I wanted to share this graphic organizer with you now. It is an easy and simple way for your students to compare and contrast character thoughts and feelings in their stories.

In my classroom, I use this along with the "I do, we do, you do" teaching method, which is why there are three boxes in the organizer. As we are reading a story, I will share my thinking about the characters thoughts and feelings, then think aloud as I write it down. Later on in the story, as the character is developing, I will ask my students for help identifying their feelings. Finally, towards the end of the story, they will analyze the character's feelings independently.

First Post!

I have been meaning to start this blog for a while now and I finally did it! YAY! I hope that I can quickly begin filling up my page with new posts to share with you all. Until then, take a second to check out MY STORE, which I just opened as well! I will be uploading great curriculum and supplemental materials that have been used and proven to work with my own students.
